Cayra exposes a remote MCP service for supported clients, with authorization applied before business-data tools can be used.
A supported MCP client sends a request to Cayra's remote service. Cayra evaluates that request in the context of the authorized account, uses the permitted business-data tools, and returns the resulting answer to the client.
For the Claude connector, authorization uses Cayra's OAuth flow. The connector does not grant broader Cayra access than the signed-in account already has.
Transport, authentication, and feature availability can vary by client. Follow the current connection guidance for the client and Cayra deployment you use.

What to know before connecting
Can I connect Cayra to Claude web and Claude Desktop?
Yes. Open the Cayra MCP listing in Claude's connectors directory, select Connect, and authorize your Cayra account. Cayra's Cloud connector access is available with the Business plan.
How does OAuth limit Claude's access to Cayra?
The OAuth flow authorizes the connector for the signed-in Cayra account. Cayra still applies that account's permissions when tools are requested.
Does the Claude connector send my entire database to Claude?
No. A request is sent to Cayra's remote MCP service, Cayra performs the permitted work, and the resulting business answer is returned to the Claude conversation. Do not include sensitive data in prompts unless your policies allow it.
Can I use Cayra with other MCP clients?
Cayra can work with supported clients that can connect to its remote MCP service. Setup and feature availability depend on the client's current MCP capabilities and your Cayra deployment.
